An irreplaceable gold beads held by Queen Mary of the Scottishs during her execution in 1587 were among the other things stolen at the castle of Western Sussex.
Other items stolen on Friday include the crown cups Queen Mary gave to Count Marshal, writes BBC, translates Periscope.
The spokesman for Areundel Castle said these artifacts were “s a huge historical significance”.
This fortress was reopened to the public only Thursday.
