The American entrepreneur's Blue Origin Company says it will launch a crew aboard its missile system on July 20th, the BBC writes, records Periscopi.
Astronauts are likely to include company personnel, while one country is auctioned online.
New Shepard's flights are sub-horbital. They are designed to take passengers on a journey up and down the road that goes over 100 km (62 miles) in short time.
This is the so-called Kármán Line, which is designated with broad international agreements as the starting point of space.
Only 569 people have ever been on the Kharmán Line. We are ready to change it and change it dramatically,” said Arian Cornell, director of astronaut sales at Blue Origin.
She refused to comment if Mr. Bezos could be on the 20th flight.
Blue Origin's announcement is further evidence of a revival in space tourism after a gap of nearly 12 years.
