For the first time in Kosovo, research begins on the level of infection research by COVID-19

According to the ministry, this study aims at measuring the serovalance of COVID-19 antibodies in the general population according to gender and age groups and assessing the ratio of asimtomatic, pre-simtomatic or subclinic infections in the population.
According to the Health Ministry, research will take place at the country level.

For the first time in Kosovo, I KSHP in collaboration with O BSH has begun implementing the study “Seropidemiological error based on a population stretched to age for SARS infection CoV-2.
This research is done in order to investigate the extent of SARS infection. The CoV-2, which is determined by the sero-positive of the general population in Kosovo.
Research is conducted according to standardized protocol conducted by O BSH, which allows epidemiological exposure data and biological samples to gather systematically and assess the degree of severity and assault. Research also serves for orientation on the state of public health and housing policies.
This sero-epidemiological study aims at these objectives:
1. To measure COVID-19's seroprevalence of antibodies in the general gender and age population in order to determine the population's quantum immunity.
2. To assess the ratio of asmatomatic, pre-simtomatic or sub-clinic infections to the population and in terms of age and gender.
3. To measure the current positive in the population chosen by chance.
Research will take place at the level of the country stretched according to age and gender.
As soon as we finish taking samples on the ground, we will have the preliminary results, and furthermore the final ones that will reflect the state of COVID-19 spreading to the Kosovo population.
