The Specialised Prosecutor's Office has indicated that by June they will have full witness materials for the leaders of the former Kosovo Liberation Army. At the fifth progress conference on the case, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office stressed that they are aware of the deadlines, it transmits Telegrafi.
“We are aware of the time and timelines to be respected. We're about two months from July 23rd. When possible, we will extract full witness packages, and we hope to be ready to deliver materials in June”, the SPS stressed.
Meanwhile, Thaci's defence, Weselini, Selimi and Krasniqi stressed that materials should have earlier so that they can have time to prepare for protection. The fifth conference on the performance of the issue is continuing.
