This has happened on one of the most stimulating shares taken against Muslims from the fall of the Babri Mosque by a band of Hindu nationalists in 1992.
The mosque, located in the town of Ram Sanehi Ghatt at Uttar Pradesh, had remained there for at least six decades.
On Monday, police and security services were put in action to evacuate people, then bring in the bulldozers and destroy the mosque. The rest were then thrown into the river.
The state government of Uttar Pradesh is controlled by Hindu nationalists from the Baharatiya Yanata party, who also govern edeh national level.
A local hoja, Maulana Abdul Mustafa, said that the mosque was “the hundred years old” and that <x22,000 people have gone there five times a day to say the prayer”. /Periscope
