Specialists leave no QKMFs, inspection of the competition required

The Ministry of Health at the helm with Armendi Zemaj in July 2020 had opened the specialist competition after four years without one, where 1,034 specialisations would be accepted. But this competition was then completed for specialists from Presevo Valley, Montenegro, and Macedonia, with the number of accepted specialists about 2000. The Oda medical competition is demanding audit from current Minister Arben Vitita.

The chairman of the Oda of Doctors, Pleurant Sejdiu, tells Kosovo Preis that about 2,000 specialists were accepted in this competition, where due to the recent number of specialists are only wandering the corridors of the specialist clinics without having the opportunity to lock in.
Sejdiu claims that specialisations are divided without the real demands of clinics, hospitals, and QKMFs, and now these specialisations have left the QKMFs without primary care doctors.

Now we have the problem over these two weeks we've met with all the leaders of health institutions like primary ones like secondary ones and it's the same problem. One has been left without doctors at the level of family medicine, and the second is that all of us have without exception been convinced by facts that specialisations which have been divided are not based on any point on their real demands, requests they have behind them given in view of the exchange of generations, current absence and the fulfillment of the needs for hospital capacity development, and has given specialisations to the ministry without their demands of”, he said.
The Chairman of the Oda of Medicine says there should be about 800 doctors for expert schooling, but about 2,000 specialisations were issued, which Sejdiu says I don't know who they are.

You said 1034 or what you want, the truth is, it's not exactly known how many specializations were issued, is said to be 1700 specialists. We were told they were over 2000 so we requested auditing. According to our data, we have a number of 600 doctors with approximately 550-600 unemployed doctors, I speak general doctors who should be classified according to the specialization year and open contests... Let's say there's 100 or 150 others who are general doctors employed in health homes and there's going to be anywhere in 700 to say and add here the limited capabilities for dentistry specialization, and the real number would be somewhere at 800 everyone I talk to, and we have around 2000, who are these other”, he said.
But the president of the Specialisation Board, Labinot Sahin, who exposed Sejdiu, says 2,000 specialists have not been admitted, and blames Oda for blocking the contest, where he claims many doctors have left Kosovo.

It's not true that 2,000 specialists have been admitted... The provision of the framework for our health institutions and our population is the most important thing that needs to happen, and we know that 4 years is not behind the competitions for professional schooling, there has been a large collection of health frameworks, general doctors, and dentists, and we know that during this period a large part of doctors are not due to the lack of perspectives of competitions for scientific schooling, and the blame has been accepted by doctors who have not allowed competitions, on the other side you can see in previous statements that have been declared over every 100 years, and leaving Kosovo's special membership, he said.

Sahin indicated that the 2020 competition was first announced for 1034 countries, then the supplementing competitions for the Presevo Valley of Montenegro, Macedonia, and the supplementary countries for Stomatology specialists have submitted the number to 1400.

“We have announced the first contest on July 30th for 1034 countries, then completed it with competitions complete for the Presevo Valley, after two weeks after this competition, and now I have recently due to constant demands and our obligation to reject then candidates who have come from Montenegro, Macedonia we have declared fill-up competitions and then there are about 1300 specialists and now in the last competition about 100 specialties with the incomplete countries that have been left to smattomatology and in some part of the special smatology of 2000, he said.

Former Health Minister Amenmenmen Zemaj in February of this year indicated that they will be free from payment of professional schooling every year all specialists with self-finance at the request of private and public-private health institutions and specialists who have signed contracts with the Health Ministry
