Shaip Kamberi: Only the US can force Serbia to recognise Kosovo

The European Union cannot bring a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia because it has been mediating these talks for several years and we have no concrete results. We have some signed agreements that have so far been ignored. Serbia has not yet faced a direct international pressure to take the final step towards Kosovo. I think the US can force Serbia to go in that direction,” -- says Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi.

Serbia's request for the establishment of Serb municipalities in northern Kosovo, MP Kamberi sees it as Serbia's intention to create something autonomous within Kosovo.
