Former Justice Minister Selim Selim Selimi has commented on Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's recent statement in Brussels. He talked about eliminating war criminals, not to mention who he's talking about.
Kurt does not mention Serbia's war crimes, but spoke generally.
In this regard, Selimi says the relativism of war crimes and the comparison of deliverers with Milosevic's machine criminals is the malicious revision of liberation history.
<x0) The KLA with Vucinqi shows that this prime minister and his machines are willing to impose oppressive regimes. Dating from the United States and approaching pro-Russian expeditions makes it wrong to our foreign policy, and we will return to paranoid isolation with the manipulable elements from enemies”, Selimi wrote on Facebook.
While yesterday, Prime Minister Kurti, during his pre-media statement in Brussels, has mentioned the three main pillars over which the Balkan and Western countries, including Kosovo, can move towards EU integration.
One of these pillars, says Kurti, is the elimination of the political scene of war criminals, yet he has not specified who exactly he is referring to.
On the other hand, all countries in the Western Balkans will be able to walk much faster, if they stick to three, let's say, very important values. The first is democratisation, the second is rule of law, and the third is confrontation with the past, so they are eliminated from the political and institutional scene, war criminals. Even further in the Western Balkans, we have war criminals and criminals who dominate institutions and political parties, and this will end, and thus conditions will be created for even more hope, and more confidence in the future. The democratisation against autocratics, the rule of the law against monopoly and oligarchs and confrontation with the past, since we have experienced four wars in the Balkans, the responsibilities for which, and many of the culprits -- whether bylaw or by execution -- continue to be equipped with political power” -- has clarified Kurti.
Despite that, Selimi says Kurti in his plan for confronting the past relating war crimes by equates the aggressor with the victim.
I know that Prime Minister Kurti is informed of Nuremberg's decisions, I The TY and the ICC know that in every war there are attackors of Serbia's political-military devices and victims, in our case the Albanian civilian population”, Selimi wrote on Facebook.
Kosovo currently has at the Special Court Kosovo Army leaders, who are facing charges and war crimes claims. There are former President Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi, Rexhep Selimi and Salih Mustafa.
