Gervala at a news conference, said President Vjosa Osmani has adopted the decrees for the release of political ambassadors during yesterday.
The ministry of foreign affairs and Diasporas has proposed to the president to pass the decrees for the release of all politically appointed ambassadors. President Osmani has issued the decrees yesterday, acting in accordance with the proposal. Freedom from duty and the withdrawal of politically appointed ambassadors has been made in the spirit of the approved governing programme, where it envisions reforming the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kosovo”, she stressed.
Gervalla said they will continue with other decisions regarding diplomatic service, as he announced that the selection of new ambassadors will take place the following weeks.
In the coming weeks, new ambassadors' selection will take place, as well as reform will continue. Reform is delayed, this is seriously preparing”, she said.
The minister thanked all political ambassadors for the work they have done.
