Mustafa estimates the decision to keep the prom test just one day.
From what we've seen, the Matura Central State Commission has made a decision that is in the best interests of seniors because it has decided that this year's senior prom test will be only one day and 100 points. This is a proposal I made last year, and the Government respected it, and this time they saw it as reasonable and made an extremely good decision”.
He said that criteria for the senior exam test should be toughed.
I think it has to be and I think it needs to toughen up the senior exam because the only senior grader from the Ministry of Education and which is standardized for all seniors to the country, more measures must be added that ensure that the prom exam is giving its effect and that seniors show their quality within that period. Now the Central Commission of the State Math has to do an analysis and give precise assessments to the unit for standards for evaluation and monitoring so that they through experts ask the right questions considering the circumstances this generation of seniors has faced. No generation has suffered worse than this generation” so far, Mustafa said in an interview for EO.
In addition, Mustafa said the questions of the State Math Bridge test should be drawn up depending on the performance of teachers and students.
“We do not dare the state-run senior exam to influence the increase in the number, but technical organisation will be easier. But for me it's about that the Matura State Commission through the unit for assessment standards and monitoring to run tests to see if it's been well monitored by the teaching ministry for this year and a half. Which has been the performance of the teachers, and then the group of experts when drawing up the questions should consider all these”.
Furthermore, he said the teachers' performance was weak this year.
This generation of seniors is subject to the senior test under uneven circumstances. For more than a year and a half, learning has developed under abnormal conditions. But there were teachers who didn't give him the best. Questions should be considered. But surely there were requirements that seniors should observe the rules that define administrative instruction”, he told EO.
The State Matura test will be held on June 26th. According to an education ministry report, the exam is scheduled to take place within a day. The exam's performance will take place from June 7th-15th. While the results of the exam will be released on 5 July.
While, the Environment Test will be held on May 28th. Over 26 thousand middle-class students will be subject to this test.
