US, most reliable guarantor for Kosovo- Serbia

Opposition party leaders in Kosovo have asked Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, including the United States of America in the dialogue process with Serbia. Albert Krasniqi from Democracy Plus estimates that Washington's pressure on the parties for reaching an eventual agreement could be much greater than from Brussels [...]
Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku, after his meeting Wednesday with Prime Minister Kurti, has said that without US participation, there should be no dialogue with Serbia.
The U.S.'s “Accession is inconsistent. Without US participation there should be no dialogue. Kosovo praises the role of the EU, but needs and requires US involvement in dialogue. This is undisputed”, Abdixhiku is expressed.
Abdixhiku has said he has asked Prime Minister Kurti to know the government's political position on the dialogue process.

Kosovo must know what the Kosovo government's political position in dialogue is and we are waiting for this position, and we made an offer, where we handed the prime minister a document on the political position, which we think the Government of Kosovo should have. This document contains principles that dialogue must protect, which are a discussion on the basis of the JND, protection of territorial integrity, preservation of Kosovo's unitary character and constitutional order”, Obadiah has said.
US representation Kurti has also asked Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj on Tuesday.
What we're investigating is the lack of the United States presence in dialogue, we think this is a bad situation for Kosovo, disrupts the balance of Kosovo's interests in dialogue. It would be very beneficial to an emissar, a US chargeman, in this case by the president (American) Joe Biden to load someone representing America on the subject of dialogue”, Haradinaj said.
At the meeting with Prime Minister Kurti, LDK leaders have handed him a document, with the views of this party regarding dialogue, demanding that the principles presented in it be respected and that the final result in dialogue be mutual recognition.
Prime Minister Kurti's initiative to meet opposition party leaders has turned down Democratic Party Chairman Enver Hoxhaj's task manager.
Krasniqi: No Final Agreement Without the United States
The direct involvement of the United States of America in the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia cannot be done just because political parties in Kosovo seek it, Albert Krasniqi of Demmocracy Plus told Radio Free Europe.
According to him, US involvement is necessary in such an important process for Kosovo.
I don't think there could be a final agreement without US involvement. But, they have chosen a side-by-side role, not being directly involved, but that at the same time have always been an active party even through demands they had against the parties in Kosovo or in Serbia”, Krasniqi said.
Krasniqi said US pressure could be much greater than it could be done by EU countries against Kosovo and Serbia.
The self-confidence of citizens, but the EU as a partner has gradually begun to lose ground among supporters in Kosovo because of the failures they have had so far and promises that have not been realised in the report with Kosovo”, Krasniqi said.
In June, a meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, is expected to be held with the European Union's mediation.
Prime Minister Kurti has stressed several times that he will not hold meetings within the EU-brokered dialogue without consulting the political spectrum in Kosovo.
Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, with EU mediation, started in 2011 in Brussels. /Rel
