Following release: How Serbian Police Came to an End

The albumist and Social Democrat Party activist Blerim Macastena has been declared innocent by the Court in Serbia today. He was released and returned Kosovo as innocent after charges of illegal border crossing and illegal weapons were burdened. Maccastena has confessed exclusively to T7, for the moment of arrest and for the time spent in prison in Serbia.

The Macastena on the “Frontal” show, in T7, said he and his family were very excited about release from prison.

There's a lot of brengos, but today they have a relief. They're extremely happy. They've been through it with pain, but now they're happy”, he said.

And staying in prison for Machasten has been hard. He said he was charged in Serbia with illegal possession of arms and illegal border crossings.
Serbia's “Bourts are heavy, but for Albanians they are much heavier. For someone who is a political activist, they are more serious. It's hard, but I've managed somehow. There has been difficulties that after all that has happened to us with Serbia, I accidentally crossed the border. When the prosecutor wants three years in prison, it's a kind of violence. I have been burdened with charges of illegal possession and illegal border crossings. I've had an official gun with permission, but in Serbia it's not worth this”, he said in T7.

Macchastena also talked about conditions within the prison and the behavior of corrective officials.

“Burges had changed. Conditions had improved. Officials were correct. But knowing that the Bytyqi brothers were taken from that prison has been a pressure on me. I have this event. There have been Albanians, but only one remains. He too is expected to be extradited to France by the end of the month”, he has said.

The one in “Fromental”, has shown the Serbian police's arrest at the moment. He said he was mistaken and unconsciously entering 11 kilometers deep into Serbian territory.

On December 12th, I'm walking in the Bedkech. I had the virus and physically didn't feel good. I walked out. He's back from the bush, the fog falls and it's dark. I had entered 12 miles [11 km] into the territory and left the siren. When I realized from one resident where I am, he told me that more than two miles [2 km] away is the main road. I went to the main street and was arrested by Serbian police. I haven't had the least problem with them. The only problem has been the prosecutor and the judge's sentence of at least three years. I am innocent, completely free of court”, he declared.

And mostly Macastena said the weather for Kosovo's land for air.

I miss Kosovo air, on Kosovo soil. I've had enough love for the country, but I've grown in love. Even the suffering for my family has prevented me a lot there”, he said.
