4,680 doses of Pfizer vaccine against the Tyvid-19 virus have reached the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health.
With this container, health staff will be vaccinated, which has failed to be vaccinated during the communication campaign, then older people and chronically ill people.
It was the chairman of the Commission for Health, Fatmire Mulhrama-Kollcak, who announced two days ago that five thousand doses of Pfizer vaccine will come to Kosovo.
In April, the European Union announced it will distribute 651,000 doses of anti-coronvirus vaccines to Western Balkan countries. Out of that amount, Kosovo will benefit 95,000 doses, which, according to the Ministry of Health, will come <x0vica after week”.
Kosovo launched the vaccine campaign against Avid-19 on 29 March, with 24,000 doses of AstraZenecas vaccine, which took them free from the World Health Organisation's Covax programme. From Covax, Kosovo is expected to receive 100,800 doses.
