Albanian people's centuries-old efforts at freedom and the most basic sacrifice of martyrs have given the country the greatest value, which is the Kosovo Liberation Army, value that should be preserved and protected by everyone.
So has the mayor of the Decani municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj, declared today during the solemn hearing held in honour of Witness Day, by whom he added that anyone who tries to deny this value will not arrive anywhere.
Recalling the contribution of all generations and the glorious KLA war, Ramosj said co-operation with NATO's allied states has been built on them.
He said the people of Kosovo have gone through large crossroads, with numerous dilemmas being opened, but stressed that freedom is the most important.
“Freedom is a value without price, created by a national value, from a very great continuation of centuries and centuries to come up here. And also, with all these efforts with these martyrs and this sacrifice that we are trying to do with honor, and respect, has born a sacred value, this value must be protected, it must be preserved. That's why it's worth it, it's the KLA. The man in this country who's got to insult him has to be mean and has to try to get this value, he can't achieve anything. For above all these generations, the movements of time up to The KLA is the greatest climax of this nation. On this basis, on this military, we also co-operate with NATO's allied states and have achieved the release of this country”, he said.
The head of the Municipal Assembly of the Decani municipality, Haki Shehuaj, said Decani gave too much to fight for freedom.
The KLA war remains the emblem of efforts, defeat, sacrifice, blood for freedom and independence. The price of freedom was truly expensive, with great effort, blood, and sacrifice, but remains the bright and glorious page of our national history. The KLA war Decani awarded thousands of devoted fighters, prominent commanders, prominent generals and dozens of heroes to the people”, he said.
The Decani municipality has 229 martyrs, while to honor them today they are becoming ho evers beside their graves and near the lapidars of heroes. /N. J
