He used to say he's a “public treasure”, Kurt now has no plan for Trepca

The metric giant Trepca” has been out of good times for years.
This public enterprise for years has faced financial trouble, and in this regard the situation on the ground has not helped even the Trepca Law.
But Trepca, he hasn't taken his place in the government program. The executive plan discusses Trepca on two pages of this document - twice with a paragraph. In the first part, the government's aim for the company is noted.
Government Program:
We will engage in the creation of the Sovereign Fund. The Sovereign Fund will take over the strategic assets of the Republic of Kosovo to wave them, enable foreign investments and access to foreign capital markets. Likewise, the Sovereign Fund will have exclusive responsibility for investments in the growth of Trepca's value, KEK, Telekom and Post. As a result, we will eliminate the Kosovo Privatisation Agency through its transfer to agencies within the Government.
The government next mentions this enterprise once again, showing how they will improve the existence of the mining sector.
Government Program:
2,14.2 Improved performance in mining sector
They will be engaged in the opital exploitation of mining resources. We will advance the legal framework and analyse the state of Trepca and other mines in Kosovo, in order to establish their performance and identify the potential of increasing production capacities. All interventions in this sector will support reasonable economic, technological, social and environmental alternatives.
This government plan, however, is not viewed as adequate.
So at least they're saying MPs from the opposition. Former Trepca Director Ferat Shala, once chairman of the commission for economics, is assessing that the government has no solution to this undertaking.
According to him, the government should address Trepca as top priority since it is now a major question on the effective economic continuation of this company.
Television has been running a motion at the economy ministry for about a month on concrete steps that it plans to take for Trepca, but has not received answers.
While the Vetevendosje Movement during the campaign for the February 14th elections had said that in Trepca they would increase production and research, as well as the qualifications of workers.
They also stressed that Trepca's development is among the most important steps for uniting the town of Mitrovica divided into two municipalities.
