Public debate sought before total collapse of former judge's object in Vushtrri

While a part of the former tribunal's goal in Vushtrri has collapsed, opposition and civil society are seeking public debate on its cultural significance, ahead of total collapse. Mayors of the municipality on Monday have been banned in half, through an MKRS decision they have been unable to undo the total collapse until another decision-making, while the object is being preserved by police forces. Meanwhile, the Vushtrri Community through a media communique said this object is not cultural heritage.
Vetevendosje Movement Ambassador Hajriz Mustafa raises doubts that the collapse of this object conceals any behindlines for high construction in the area.
He tells Kosovo Prees that the appropriate solution should be public discussion with citizens and experts for the former court building.
The weekend the mayor takes the company here and damages the facility without making the fence around the object, the security around the object endangers the lives of citizens. It is a haste of President Tahiri to make the collapse of this object as soon as possible and make a square in a few square feet and build, perhaps behind this tall building square square square here... The object has not been brought to public discussion and has not been discussed with civil society whether a decision should be made to destroy the object, or should the object be used for the museum, or something else”, Mustafa said.
Against the collapse of this facility, Kosovo's Youth Action Council head Lokal Vushtrri, Drita Dibrani, also indicated.
The root of this object is unreasonable because it has not appeared in public hearing and the opinion of citizens is taken. Perhaps it is the possibility of creating a historical centre, since it is known that this object is the period of the 1970s and may enter into operation to be a historical centre”, Debrani said.
Citizens differ on the issue. Hysen Alili tells Kosovo that the object of the former judge in Vushtrri must be destroyed, as it represents nothing.
“must be destroyed as soon as possible. The legacy that we have here is Kala, hamma, we have a lot. The ministry never invests, they have remained merciful only to the municipality. This is nothing, court. There's gotta be some kind of square going on, but not the” building, Ali said.
And Africa Pantina says that if the object is claimed to represent cultural heritage, it should not be destroyed.
If claimed to be cultural heritage, it should be preserved, or used for something else this country needs”, Pantina said.
Although he has lived near this object, Sysadmen Kera says that there is no memory of the same.
Whenever any mention of skea, here I am near the house... the court is, they have everything, the cadastre and all the others have been there”, Kara said.
Days earlier, MKRS through a media communique demanded that, until finalising the evaluation process concerning the building's cultural heritage values, steps are not taken towards exploitation or ruin.
While in today's response, the Vushtrri municipality, among other things, said they are for the protection of cultural heritage of cities, but the former objective of the court is not one.
