President Vjosa Osmani has tonight laid down Iftar for leaders of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, led by Mufti Naim Ternava, where Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca were invited.
Also present is Princeton Sadriu, Osman's husband.
Prime Minister Kurti has distributed several photos of this evening.
He said Ramadan reminds us to put the needs of others ahead of our own while Islamic values of compassion and generosity.
The modern-day <x0-mezum found us united in the iftar laid down by the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, where together with the leaders of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, led by Mufti Naim Ternava, I and Glauk Konjufca, Kosovo Parliament Speaker.
Being a time of charitable and spiritual concern, Ramadan reminds us to put the needs of others ahead of our own while Islamic values of compassion and generosity get even more meaning in the current situation with COVID-19.
