Trump makes calls with Putin and Zelensky

Far from last night's attacks, the war in Ukraine is on the agenda for talks among G7 leaders at this week's summit in France.
US President Donald Trump spoke privately with Vladimir Putin and Voldymyr Zelensky yesterday before the summit in Evian.
Zelensky said he and Trump had some good “ideas that could help bring about peace” and said he briefed the president on recent developments in the field of battle, including Ukraine's strengthened position.
Meanwhile, Kremlin said Trump told Putin that the outcome of the conflict in Ukraine was vital and that he was ready to help.
French President Emmanuel Macro has invited Zelensky to a working session with G7 leaders tomorrow to discuss the war and progress made by the forces of Ukraine.
Other topics in the agenda include warfare in Iran, Artificial Intelligence and economic growth in member states. /Telegraph
