(4 days ago)Italian carabinieri assigned to the Multinational Specialisation Unit of the KFOR mission have developed patrols in northern Mitrovica.
According to the official announcement, these patrols contribute to the visible and ongoing presence of KFOR on the ground and raise structural awareness throughout the region, as well as help ensure a safe environment.
“Such efforts reflect KFOR's commitment to ensuring a safe environment and promoting freedom of movement for all people living in Kosovo, in a transparent and impartial manner”, the report says.
