The most interesting race is expected to be like always in the capital. Who will be Pristina's next chairman remains to be seen after the elections, Olgraph writes.

So far the formalised candidates for Pristina chairman are architect Perpara from LDK, former head of the AAK Parliamentary Group Daut Haradinaj and Pristina Deputy Chairman Selim Pacolli of the AKR.

As a potential candidate for the capital's first post, Arben Vitita and Libun Aliu from LVV and Ismaili Bridge from PDK have also been talked about, but their candidacy has not yet become official.

Key experience: As the founding director of the 4M Group, Rama is responsible for planning to manage and overall the bureau, his projects include those from residential to commercial ones, from hotels to mix construction, airport and urban planning.

Rama consults Qatar's National State Research Fund on urban projects and current and future architecture in Qatar. He is also the leader of the master's project team plan for development of the stable village “Durmi” in 10ha south of Albania, in the Ionian Sea.

He was the leader of the international design consortium, led by 4 M GROUP to the urban permit of Pristina's most associated Balkan complex. He was an expert adviser on developing tools for spatial planning and architecture for Newham Council and Tower Hamlets in London in preparation for the 2012 London Olympics. He was a leader in the design of the regulatory plan.

Daut Haradinaj was born on April 6, 1978, in Glodjan, Decani. Bachelor's studies were completed at Pristina University, at the Jurydical Faculty.

Daut Haradinaj was one of the founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, also was commander of Brigades 131 “Yusuf Gervallah. Together with Rexhep Selmin and Muja Krasniqi on the occasion of killing teachers Halit Geci, on November 28th 1997, they went out public and declared the formation of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Daut is one of five Haradinaj brothers who were distinguished for their courage and contribution to the Kosovo war. From 1999 to 2009, he was a soldier of the Kosovo Protection Corps.
As of 2010, he was elected parliament of the Republic of Kosovo for several consecutive legislatures. In the VII legislature of the Republic of Kosovo, he exercised the position of chief of the AAK parliamentary group.

In the early parliamentary elections of 2021, he was among the most voted on the AAK list of deputies, but resigned from this position to free Semsedin Dresaj's position.
He lives in Pristina, is married and has two children.

Selim Pacolli, was born September 21, 1969. Economic studies enabled for decades to be responsible for important managerial positions, including several areas of business development. This allowed his experiences to be a great connoisseur of the work processes, as in the development field of textiles, construction and engineering, media and particular publications, processes and developments, banking, insurance companies, in the field of hotels and tourism, etc.

Selim Pacolli, his career began with managerial positions, where he exercised the duty of Mabetex Project & Engineering Society in Pristina by 1996-2005. By 2005-2011, it is appointed to the position of Director General at the ATV Media Group Company, including special publications, media centre, daily newspaper “News”, and then monthly magazine “Albanica”.

From 2011 to 2017, Selim Pacolli is entrusted with running a new business, the Swiss Diamond Hotel Pristina, which a short period of time placed on the top of hotels, being rewarded at prestigious international awards.

By 2009 he was a member of the Board of Economic Banks, and so was until 2014. KS Security Board member. At Mabetex Holding, however, the Board was a board member until 2017.

During the years, '{0}'90s also exercised many charity activities, leading the Association “Mother Teresa” in Hyvali, and then as chairman of the association's “commission. The family keeps family”.

Selim Pacolli, during the war period, has served as a soldier of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Political activities, Selim Pacolli, began at an early age, initially involved in the early structures of the Democratic League of Kosovo, the V branch, from the youth forum to the branch.

In 2007, with the founding of the party Alliance of New Kosovo, he also exercised the position of organising secretary of the party 2008-10. And in August 2017, he returns to the political scene, where in December 2017 he also assumes the position of Pristina Deputy Chairman.

In addition to native language, Selim Pacolli speaks English, Serbo-Croatian and Italian.
