The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj, said they have requested from the MF the additions of 100 euros, while from that of finance the calculation of supplementary classes.
“We will make two indictments, one we will dedicate to Minister Iron Murati because the previous government had brought a decision to support the educational system in time of pandemic and to support all employees in pre-university and university education with an additional 100 euros in their salaries with the reason that we have given it to them and they have accepted it due to the permanent risk of Covid and because of the increased work volume”.
And as much as with Mrs. Nagavci's recent decision, the volume has been added further because it has begun to implement supplementary learning for those students who do not have the right achievements and we are waiting to see in the month we are whether the Minister Murati will act if not then the SBASK will hand over the subject to court to seek the start of implementation procedure”
He stresses that if the classes of supplementary learning are not paid, he will also send the education ministry to court because they have not implemented the terms of the contract and what the law says.
On the other hand, if it happens that supplementary learning hours will not be counted and won't be rewarded, it is likely that even for this matter I will send the education ministry to court because the contract clearly says, it is 20 hours a week's rate and the working days are from Monday through Friday, and the contract also Article 11 correctly that every hour on this rate must be paid at the regular time. So there are these two cases that can crash us in court”.
Jasharaj has also warned the strike, but says they will not be hasty because the country is facing abnormal sites -- the one with pandemics, EO reports.
I pride myself as head of people who know how to study and assess the situation, my colleagues from being sent to university have often told us at meetings not to be too hasty after the education system, but all of Kosovo is in a very serious and economic situation, but also in education”.
We will act in other ways to escape the strike crash because we also have several days unexplored and Kosovo teachers are waging an extraordinary battle to get the school year to a better end.
