It has been proposed that, instead of reevaluating the teacher's test, the number of education inspectors will increase in order to make a constant assessment of the teacher performance.
The United Education, Science and Culture Union, as well as the connoisseur of the field of education, say testing would produce no results in increasing the quality of education in Kosovo.
Against testing teachers is the chairman of the United Education, Science and Culture Union, Benderman Jasharaj, who says such a thing will never be allowed to happen.
Whatever we've been opposing and opposing, because there's information here, rumors of any eventual ideas that make it a written test for education workers. We've criticized him even at the time of the other ministers and I'm saying that once again, the SBASK will never allow it to become a test teacher. We demand that inspectors go on an hour to see how they're working”, he says.
Teachers ' testing is also opposed to education connoisseurs, who say that there should be a constant supervision of the teacher's performance.
The director of the Edgood Institute, Youth Qehaja, declares that there must be continued assessment of the teacher performance as well as update current legislation to increase accountability within the teaching community.
There are no poor teachers in Kosovo, but there are teachers who are very comfortable in their profession, they have created a kind of extraordinary comfort which once turns into a bad performance. And this can be eliminated if we have a literal legal infrastructure and sufficient capacity from the Ministry for a mericratic and transparent assessment of their performance, rather than an assessment once every five years, but an assessment of the ongoing performance that increases the pressure and increases responsibility to the employer for work”, says Qehaja.
