Nagavci says this situation has long been created between Kamenica Mayor and residents of several villages there, and according to her, it has nothing to do with the central level.
On the other hand, Minister Nagavci has invited the municipality to be at the level of responsibility of “never let such situations be repeated again”.
Her full mail:
Today, through the media, I was informed of what happened in downtown Shipashnica Shipashnica. As the minister of education, I am concerned with the images I especially saw about the fact that there were children.
I've been contacted by Minister Svechla, who informed me that the police inspectorate is already investigating the case if there was overcoming competencies.
This is a situation now created between the mayor of Kamenica and the residents of several villages there and has nothing to do with the central level.
As much as there are biased intentions, the truth is that we have not intervened in the situation created between the municipality and the residents in any case. But we respect the right of citizens and think that no one has the right to outdo the powers the more when children are in this regard.
I have to make it clear once again how the Minister of Education is obliged to constitutionalize every child's right to education and we will work to keep no child denied that right. This should be everyone's purpose, there is no reason for the fact that more than 440 children have been deprived of that right.
I invite the municipality to be at the level of responsibility and never let such situations happen again. Parents and residents, although facing and continuing to face a difficult situation, beg them to be careful so that events like this do not arise today and, above all, avoid endangering their children's safety.
Kids should be at school. Parents should have their children's attention in first sight, and the mayor should be in the service of the citizens.
