Kosovo's written media leader, Imer Mushkolaj, has called on controversial journalists on Press Freedom Day.
At a conference organised by the Association of Kosovo Journalists, Mushkolaj cited a worrying phenomenon for independent and free journalism.
He said journalists should follow Ethics in the media in their writings and not deal with groundless sources and slander.
We need journalists to recall the Ethics Code. There are often concessions, but here I'm saying that journalists don't deliberately invent. This is a phenomenon happening in online media in Kosovo” said Mujotoal, conveys the Periscop portal.
Also, Mushkolaj cited the latest approach the country's institutions have towards online media.
The last “we have seen inadequate access to media institutions. They have chosen inappropriate ways to approach the media”.
Concern for Mushkolaj also remains the ignorance of institutional officials who have no knowledge about online media.
I have met people of institutions, but I regret to say that knowledge of this is zero. The media need to explain more to”, he said, among other things.
In the case of World Press Freedom Day, the Association of Kosovo Journalists has introduced Kosovo's Parliament targets, threats of injuries to journalists who have been taken in an effort to deliver various news and research. /Periscopi/
