Industry, Intervention and Trade Minister Roseta Hajdari at a conference today during the day has said reciprocity is not the solution to problems between Kosovo and Serbia. But, Hajdari now through a post in “Facebook” is saying that her statement has been misinterpreted.
Reasoning, Hajdari confirmed that he has said they have not wanted to immediately impose reciprocity measures with Serbia.
My “Declaration at today's regional conference organised by the Kosovo Afarism Oda has been misinterpreted. I have not said reciprocity is not the solution to problems, but I said I didn't want to put reciprocity measures with Serbia” immediately, she wrote in a post in “Facebook”
Hajdari has further stated that reciprocity is a sound principle of normal reporting among states.

My statement at today's regional conference organised by the Kosovo Afarism Oda has been misinterpreted. I have not said reciprocity is not the solution to problems, but I have said I did not want to put reciprocity measures with Serbia immediately.
We're currently finalising the state of the trade report analysis before we act. Now we have new customs directors, and since many of Serbia's barriers are not systemic but sporadic, we need to prepare well our customs officials to implement reciprocity.
In Kurti 1 government, we had established reciprocity gradually after two months.
Reciprocity is a sound principle of normal reporting among states.
We have reciprocity, not as a weapon of revenge, but as a principle that emerges from the concept of equality. We'll set up reciprocity, not to raise barriers, but to remove them. And to protect citizens from violating dignity and rights.
