All photos published on the embassy page are from inside meetings, except for senior diplomat Donika Gervala. The photo of the meeting with Gervala has been published abroad as there was an American flag, unlike the table inside, where only the European Union flag is seen, even though the American representative Matt Palmer is on the table.
It is not known, however, why this has happened, but could be described as a diplomatic scandal.
Both photos, one outside that looks at the American flag, and another picture in which only the European Union flag is seen, are published.
US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Palmer and EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak have met with Kosovo state leaders during the day. Palmer and Lajcak also met President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bissim.
