Journalist Milaim Zeka has reacted after the deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement and those of the Serbian List became together today to approve in the Kosovo Assembly proposal that the state allocate over 10m euros to pay the electricity to Serbs in northern Kosovo.
Zeka through a Facebook post said that Vetevendosje deputies once slandered and foamed against this payment.
“Historical photo: VV and Serbian List deputies made together to vote 11 million for Serbian electricity bills. Once sneezing, foaming, snoring, and kicking, against this payment. Say: "Who is it that has an evil thing to do with us? Did this virus blow out of your brain? As many centuries as we're suffering from collective forgetting”, Zeka wrote.
With 61 votes for, LVV deputies along with those of “Srpske” have approved the Commission's recommendations for Economy, Industry, Intervention and Trade over the proposal that the Kosovo System, Transmission Operator and Electricity Market (KOSTT) assume responsibility for paying electricity to Serbs in the four northern municipalities.
This practice was sharply criticised by LVV when Kurt's party was in opposition, but this decision, which was criticised by opposition parties now, was taken at the Commission's meeting for Economics, Industry, Interventor and Trades a week ago and was strongly defended by LVV's parliamentary group chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila.
