LDK says government has lack of strategy: Clear principles face dialogue with Serbia

LDK deputy chairman and at the same time the foreign policy department co-ordinator, Albanian Medici, said the new Government Programme is superficial.

Asked by the Online Economy, if the Vetevendosje Movement has renounced the principles of dialogue with Serbia as long as it was in the opposition, Medici said this party has changed its stance on many issues with coming to power.

“The LDK considers the consolidation of Kosovo's foreign policy outstanding. Presenting the interests of Kosovo citizens should be a priority for each government, but the Government's programme for foreign policy is desired nature. In a word, no strategy, no action plan. The programme contains no words for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, Interpol and others. The government lacks a strategy for new recognition. The government does not explain how IFA funds will be achieved. There is no strategy for membership in the European Union either. We consider the visa removal process for Kosovo citizens to be delayed. Co-operation with Albania is mentioned in just one paragraph, unlike the promises during elections, which are not concreteising”, Medici said.
