Kosovo's former ambassador to Italy, Alma Lama, has criticised the language of Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in which she had condemned Belarus's move that had prevented the flight of a plane from arresting opposition journalist Belarus, Roman Protasevic.
Lama at Info Magazine in Klan Kosova, said it is a highly unpleasant behaviour of MPJ “a kind of amateurism in developing foreign policy and diplomacy”.
“Diplomacy is the basic instrument with which foreign policy strategies and tactics are implemented. What we have seen so far as by the minister and her staff, we have a unfortunate failure of diplomacy and of making a foreign policy strategy”.
This has so far been manifested as a speech to the UN as on the latest Twitters where reckless attitudes are taken regarding developments in the world, using digital diplomacy (Twitter) that normally for small states should be an extraordinary tool of communication and reaching audiences as far as we can think of”, Lama said.
