Many older ones have waited many hours in a row just to get the number to be vaccinated, and then to take the treatment against the coronary.
The high interest of people over the age of 65 and the lack of vaccination organization caused major unrest where police intervention took place.
But, the toll in the “1 October” hall, the images which cleared Kosovo today, went silent for the three heads of state.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti did not speak a word about the event, which was no doubt the top of the day. So did President Vjosa Osmani.
No comment was made by Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca.
Silent remained Arben Vitita, who heads the ministry that organises the whole process of vaccination, reports Klan Kosova.
In fact, a picture of him drinking coffee in one of Pristina's famous cafes, which was said to be done at the very time when the elderly were being pushed to vaccinated became viral and perhaps the most critical photo of the day.
As a clarification has been given by the ministry he runs, and it has been reasoned that the gatherings created today are due to their being vaccinated by citizens from other municipalities as well, and not only from Pristina, as they had announced the previous day.
After all of this, Vexination Centre in Pristina established partitioning fences to enable citizens to wait in line to be vaccinated.
Severe reactions were made by opposition leaders who blamed the government for failing to organise the vaccine process.
