According to this programme, which the Prime Minister's Office has already published in full, the most urgent priorities for Kurti Government are management of the COVID-19 pandemic and ease of the economic and social consequences caused by the pandemic.

The government's other priority also remains fighting crime and corruption.

As for pandemic management, the Kurti Government has seen a few steps to take, among which is the provision of the vaccine for 60% of citizens, in the age group of those to be vaccinated by the end of this year, the emergency financial package for support of clinical treatment for the clinics dedicated to treating patients with COVID-19 and many other steps.

Next, the government Kurti in the governing programme has provided health sector reorganization as well as changing the Health Insurance Law.

Regarding the prevention and fighting of crime, the government has envisioned the establishment of human, analytical and investigative capacities of order and security mechanisms. The government also intends to complete the visa liberalisation process for Kosovo citizens.

Our “Our aim is to bring the visa liberalisation process back from a politicised process to technical process. Integrity, credibility and normal functioning of the justice system, which produces results in fighting corruption and organised crime, are essential for Kosovo to liberalise the free movement of citizens”, the governing programme says.
