Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced on Friday that the government of Kosovo has successfully concluded negotiations with anti- vaccine producer. - CO VID, “Pfixer”. At the Government meeting, he has said that Kosovo has bought quantities of vaccines from this producer, but not to mention any numbers.
“POsa has successfully concluded negotiations on the coming of vaccines to Kosovo with which we have purchased vaccines from producer Pfizer) and now, thanks to this we will be able to vaccinate even beyond priority groups and go safely towards the pledge to complete this year's population immunization, respectively, 60 per cent of the citizens of”, Kurti said at the Government meeting.
So far the country has accepted about 170 thousand vaccines, “AstraZeneca” and “Pfixer”. All through donations from the COVAX programme and the European Union. Over 600,000 citizens have been vaccinated, while Health Minister Arben Vitita warned yesterday that mass inoculation will begin on June 15th.
There are currently 2593 active cases in the country, while the total number of infected people has gone to 107 thousand and 354. As a result of the virus, 2242 people have lost their lives.
