The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by Economy Minister Artan Rizvanolli and Environment Minister, Space Planning and Infrastructure, Lieburn Aliu, during the day hosted the delegation from the Energy Community Secretariat, consisting of the director, Janez Kopac, Deputy Director, Dirk Buschle and electricity expert Arben Kkoqi.

At the start of the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti thanked the Secretariat for the continued support they have given Kosovo over the years in implementing the Acquis. Furthermore, he announced the delegation of Energy Community Secretariat for government priorities within the energy sector and the National Energy and Climate Plan, as well as government pledges in relation to the environment.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to energy security and affordable energy for all citizens and the country's economy, aimed at diversification of energy, and is interested in investments in energy efficiency, the chairman said.

Representatives of the Energy Community Secretariat pledged to continue supporting the energy sector and environmental protection in Kosovo.
