Kurt meeting with opposition, these are party positions

Kurt's invitation has positively confirmed the AAK and LDK, however, the largest opposition party, PDK has rejected it, writes Periscope.

The AAK was the first to accept the meeting between President Haradinaj and Prime Minister Kurti.

“We are confirming that the meeting between President Haradinaj and Prime Minister Kurti, at the request of the latter, will take place at the beginning of next week”, AAK spokesman Lulzim Blaka was declared.

During today, however, the LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has confirmed this. He said briefly he would attend the meeting called by Kurti.

“Yes I will participate”, Abdixhiku said.

The only ones who refused to meet with Kurti were the PDK, where their leader, Enver Hoxhaj, through a letter has responded to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, announcing he will not go to the meeting with opposition parties, called by him.

These are government responsibilities and are not topics you should discuss at closed meetings with opposition party leaders. The government in the announcement made has not indicated what the topics of discussion are, but has said that issues of national interest will be consulted with opposition parties.
