KSF in the largest American military exercise, these are operations under way in Kosovo

Colonel Ejup Macedonia, director of the exercise, tells Kosova Preis that Kosovo is among the 16 host countries for exercise “Defeder Europe 21”, which is aimed at increasing operational readiness and interoperability between the American Army and partner countries.

There are 28 thousand troops deployed in the exercise of “Defender Europe 21”, while in Kosovo, apart from KSF members, a unit of the United States that participates in support of the force's infantry capacity.

Lieutenant Colonel Albert Kuci, commander of the first infantry regiment, says of Kosova Preis that during this period they will perform various trainings in offensive, defence and stability duties stemming from the infantry management mission.

Security Force this year runs this exercise in Kosovo, while participating in the exercise in Croatia, which is also within “Defender Europe 21” and will also be participating in Albania under civil-military relations training.

The United States' largest military exercise since World War II, which this year has included Kosovo, will have its main day on May 28th, until June 3rd the re-disploitation of members of the Force at the permanent barracks in Kosovo.
