According to the presidential statement Osmani expressed gratitude for the historic support of the United Kingdom to Kosovo since the war period, including engagement within NATO, as well as continued support since the declaration of independence. In this direction, she said, the United Kingdom remains one of the most strategic partners and allies for our country.
On the other hand, President Osmani stressed that the country's institutions are willing to engage in opening new chapters of co-operation with the United Kingdom and empowering existing ones, while putting particular emphasis on the area of rule of law, defence, security, trade exchanges, education, and the shared commitment to advancing green agenda.
President Osmani expressed readiness for co-operation in this direction, as Poortman reiterated that the United Kingdom is the full supporter of the future of the Republic of Kosovo in NATO, which will contribute to stability and security in the region and beyond.
He expressed the support of Great Britain in empowering the international subjectivity of the Republic of Kosovo.
In particular, President Osmani expressed gratitude for the United Kingdom's support and commitment to whitewashing the fate of missing persons with violence in the recent war in Kosovo, saying that dawning their destiny and establishing justice are preconditions for lasting peace and success in the dialogue process.
The two sides agreed on close co-operation in implementing joint projects, which will help advance bilateral reports.
