The news that the session will be held today has confirmed the spokesperson for the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Mirlinda Gashi.
Gashi told Express that the session will be held at 10:30.
The hearing for the seven arrested will be held today at 10:30x1>, Gashi said.
Otherwise, the Special has applied for detention under suspicion that the people have committed criminal acts: “The participation and organisation of the structured criminal group”, “Unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotrope or analogue”, and “I kept ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons<5>.
“Special Procurory has applied for the detention assignment of seven persons Pristina, May 18, 2021 -- the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) -- reports the opinion that, today, he applied to the Constitutional Court in Pristina for the appointment of seven (7) persons who were detained on May 17th 2021 -- regarding the action in which 400kg of cocaine-like narcotics were seized”, the Special Prosecutor's report reported.
Kosovo police, in a 24-hour report on Monday, have shown that in addition to about 400kg of cocaine seized in Lipjan, guns were seized yesterday, money, telephones and laptops.
According to the Police report, during the search at other locations, two more guns were found and seized one TT and the other gas, 50 rounds of cable bullets. 7.62 mm, 25925 euros cash, 200 denarius MK, a car, six cell phones, 6 PCs, two cannons, four. DVR and a Hard Disc”, police have announced.
According to the report, the entire operation has been conducted in co-ordination with the Italian and Albanian police.
At a media conference held Monday, Chief State Prosecutor Aleksander Lumezi has confirmed that about 400kg of cocaine worth about 20m euros were seized Monday in an operation involving authorities from Kosovo, Albania and Italy.
While, Kosovo Police Director General Samedin Mehmeti has said the first information has been received that a container has come from Brazil to Italy, with the destination of Kosovo, where it is suspected of narcotics.
This narcotics, Mehmeti had said yesterday, had been wrapped and covered in some meat-like packages.
He'd shown it was decided that this container was followed and that he'd been under police surveillance all along.
“Loaded through the territory of the Republic of Albania on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo has reached 15,05.2021, where it was detained in the parking lot of an alleged company”, Mehmeti said.
Mehmeti had said that around 11:00 on Monday, suspected persons have begun to attract narcotics, as he said they had decided to intervene and have arrested seven people -- citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
The operation, Mehmeti said it has been authorised by the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo as it ends with seven detainees.
Suspects, Mehmeti has indicated that the ban has been imposed on them, while he said several other persons are still on the run as the operation is under way.
