KMDLNJ monitors have visited the detainee, T.M., 37, with residence in Pristina and being treated at KKUK for the fact that in Dubrava Prison there is no chance of being treated properly.
T.M. Family. has been run The KMDLNJ with a statement that has been attached to a medical file that confirms that its health is serious, with a tendency to deteriorate unless it is offered adequate medical assistance and that these services, the analysis/biops, respectively, are not done in CKUK or any private hospital in Kosovo except in Skopje, where it has been treated for a long time.
KMDLNJ says the detainee T.M. It's only with a kidney and it's transplanted, so it has a delicate health condition that requires professional treatment that, in our country and under current circumstances, cannot be offered.
“For analysis/biopsine, pre-prison T.M. should go to a private hospital in Skopje and that, because it is deprived of freedom and under investigation, it is impossible to do so without the permission of the tribunal”, it is said in response.
KMDLNJ recalls that it has mandated to demand that the detainees be offered access to necessary health treatment so that life, which is guaranteed with all national and international documents for human rights deprived of freedom, is not at risk.
At the moment of freedom privation, whether it is pre-prisoned or convicted, the Kosovo Corresponding Service takes full responsibility for the health of the detained and creates conditions for professional treatment, in the application of a competent court decision that decides for the detainee, until the moment it is released or sentenced and sent to jail sentences, following the authority of the decision, is further said in response.
The KMDLNJ seeks from the SKK and the competent court that, with the greatest seriousness, address the case of pre-meditator T.M., enabling conditions for proper and necessary treatment as one of the basic human rights of those deprived of freedom and as the obligation of the relevant court and the SKK, for respect, protection and implementation of these rights.
