An armed person shot six people to death and then himself at a birthday party in Colorado Springs on Sunday, the American police said.
The shots occurred in a house park where families were gathered in a trailer to celebrate.
The suspect, a lover of one of the female victims, left by car to the apartment, walked in and started shooting people in the evening before he took his life”, the Colorado Springs Police Department said.
The motive of the attack is unknown.
Victims were all adults, but a number of children were present in the trailer at the time.
The identities of the victims and attackers are still unknown.
