Investments that were not made for decades on the Skyraw power grid, this year are implementing KEDS through 67 projects. Through them, the reconstruction of the entire network of lower and medium-sized tension is under way.
Of these investments, which total about 6m euros, will benefit about 10,000 consumers, or over 30,000 citizens. A total of 14 villages will be direct beneficiaries of these projects, which will be realised this year. These include villages: Lobby, rave, Turikevc, Tushilla, Pluzine, Abri e Down, Buroja, Rakinica, Pollac, Dashec, Baks, Cirz, Izbica and Kladernica.
At the same time, KEDS is also investing in the medium tension lines in this municipality, which includes large numbers of consumers.
KEDS has held numerous institutional meetings this year with the Skywright municipality, including the meeting with Chairman Bekim Jashar, with which they co-ordinated investment projects. They will be developed according to the dynamic and intensive plan, which will change the energy infrastructure of this municipality for good.
KEDB's investments have also welcomed Mayor Jashari himself, who has stressed the need for network intervention. Under these investments, we will have better infrastructure and better quality services from KED. KEDB's investments will confirm our requirements as well as continue next year”, Jashari stressed at the meeting, conducted with the KED management.
KEDS has also invested heavily in Skenderaj's electricity network, extending the new network and deploying dozens of new trafostations, which have directly impacted more quality electricity supplies to residents on that side.
One of the first 20 kV lines was built right in this municipality, that Skenderaj-Runic.
KEDS remains committed to further co-operation with the municipalities, enabling the old electricity network to be replaced entirely new network. Thus, KED is living up to the goal of meeting the targets for the implementation of 300m euros within 15 years.
