Britain has agreed that former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, convicted of war crimes, is transferred to a prison in Britain to serve the rest of the sentence, writes The Guardian.
“Radovan Karadzic is one of few people found guilty of genocide. He was responsible for the massacre of men, women and children in the Srebrenica genocide and has assisted in the siege of Sarajevo with attacks on civilians”, said Britain's Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab.
“We should be proud of the fact that Great Britain's support to ensure his arrest to the prison cell currently facing. Britain has supported the 30-year pursuit of justice for these horrific crimes”.
