Jasharaj faces Nagavci again, seeking to vaccinate teachers without selection

While he said that Education Minister Arberie Nagavci has told them that if there are sufficient numbers of vaccines, there will be selection of teachers, adding that chronic sufferers must first be vaccinated.

Jasharaj added that they oppose the decision of Minister Nagavci because the entire educational system should be vaccinated.

“We have also met with Minister of Education Arberie Nagavci and also with Health Minister Arben Vitita, and he has told us the reality that after a part of the white cloak, Albania also contributed to the vaccination of some of the educational staff”, he told Economy Online.

“Well that idea failed because Prime Minister Kurti was declared against two vaccines that were possible to come to Albania and then we oriented the conversation with Health Minister Arben Vitita, who has told us that with the arrival of the new vaccine container, they will also take into account our request and have a priority as well.

“Education Minister Arberie Nagavci has stated that if there is a shortage of vaccines, then there will be a selection when the elderly in education will be taken into account those with chronic diseases. And we've been against that because we think that the entire educational system” should be vaccinated, Jasharaj added.

He added that they are not for the idea that a supplementary lesson can be organised along with regular learning, because it will create additional problems.
