Hospitals in the congested territory, which is under the Israeli blockade for almost fifteen years, have been preoccupied with patients.
In his first comment about Israeli air strikes in Gaza, World Health Organisation Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebraesus said that in addition to concerns about the humanitarian crisis and security, the health situation is also very disturbing.
“In the recent evacuation of the conflict, dozens of incidents have occurred involving health workers and health centres. Moreover, testing and vaculation for Ovid 19 have been severely affected. This poses danger to the world as a whole”, the WTO chief said.
