Kosovo Democratic Party of Kosovo leader Enver Hoxhaj's task counsel explained the reasons why he has rejected Prime Minister Kurti's invitation to discuss issues of national interest that the government must have priority.

He said Prime Minister Kurti before inviting the opposition to the meeting would have to prepare a written platform in which to list principles and goals on those issues, which matter key to Kosovo, Euronews reports.

“S first, Prime Minister Kurti and his government before the meeting takes place should offer a platform written on this dialogue, make this platform public, have clear principles, clear goals and deadlines. This did not happen”, he said.

He said Kurt has invited the opposition on principles as if they were his subordinates and that approach to him is wrong.

“S second, the way Mr. Kurt invited us as if we were his subordinates. He has set the appointment time, but has not set the theme of the meeting”, Hoxhaj said.

Task Speaker of PDK, Enver Hoxhaj said his party supports the dialogue process, adding that it will come out for Kosovo “lord whenever it needs”. As for the issue of visa liberalisation, Hoxhaj said the EU is no longer reliable when it speaks about this topic.

We support and support the dialogue and we will succeed Kosovo whenever it needs to. I think Borell and the EU are no longer creditable to speak on this subject, if they have something to say to Kosovo it is best to make decisions in relation to visa liberalisation. The EU has been unfair to Kosovo citizens. I cannot speak to the EU with four or five positions in relation to Kosovo, as it is behaving unfairly in relation to Albania”, Hoxhaj added.
