Haradinaj: My belief in decisionmaking, discipline, transparency, and accuracy in government

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has already nominated Pristina's candidate for mayor, which is Daut Haradinaj, which candidacy for Pristina has taken seriously, gathering around itself professionals testified by the capital.

Daut Haradinaj has said the race for the capital has entered with full conviction that it can do much for him and its residents.

“First I want to be clear, I haven't entered the career competition, but I have entered the race with full conviction that I can do more for the capital and people living in it”, Daut Haradinaj said.

As for priorities that will be at the head of his agenda as soon as he gets the confidence of the capitals, Haradinaj has listed the construction of the Pristina Regional Hospital at the former Lunar Army Kazerma, implementation of the capital law, which, although approved in the Kosovo Assembly, has not yet begun to implement, the urgent treatment of the Youth Palace, and revision of the capital's Regulatory Plan, where each neighbourhood will have equal construction coffire and implementation of the legalisation law.

“Pristina Regional Hospital, which I think should urgently be built and it should be in Luqar, in the former Army barracks.

The implementation of the Law for the capital that has been in force for three years, which aside from the Capital Police, gives Pristina weight and role as capital of the region, which unfortunately despite approval in the Kosovo Assembly, has remained in the drawer.

While asked why the capitals should give confidence to Haradinaj to lead with Pristina, Haradinaj has said trust in decision-making, accuracy in governance, and confidence that Pristina will be placed first not only in Kosovo, but also in the region.

My belief in decision making, discipline, transparency, and accuracy in government. Those jobs that the Law allows will be accomplished within the set terms. So, with experts supporting my candidacy, we have agreed that Pristina should be the first and not only in Kosovo, but also in the region”, he added.

Speaking of candidates introduced so far for Pristina's Municipal Assembly, he has said that their selection as professionals from different spheres has resulted from the problems society is currently facing.

Looking closely at the problems of our society, we are trying to select the best representative, from all spheres”, Daut Haradinaj said.

So far Daut Haradinaj, has presented 16 candidates from 56 as many as will be in total in the race for a seat at the Pristina Municipal Assembly. All 16 candidates presented by him come from different professions and are witnessing in their professions.
