Greza has started petition for the public registry of sexual abusers to the Government and the Assembly of Kosovo

Recent cases of sexual violence in Kosovo must alert the country's institutions to address this topic as priority. Hundreds of thousands of children, women, and men who are survivors of sexual violence deserve the names of their abusers to be public.

In many countries of the world, the names of those who practice sexual violence are public to citizens.

Therefore, this petition addresses the Kosovo Assembly and the Government of Kosovo as a requirement for functioning a public registry of sexual abusers.

The registry of sexually violent people gives protection to the survivors of violence as well as minimizes the possibility of rapists repeating the act of sexual violence.

The public registry can prevent repeated cases, create security for survivors, and encourage timely denouncing.
