Melinda Gates was the one who applied for divorce from Bill Gates é, and the billionaire philanthropist couple seem to have had no premature agreement at all.
56-year-old Melinda wrote that her marriage was “irreversibly irreversible” when she offered the reason for the divorce requirement, writes NYP, translates Periscopi.
The document, which has emerged Monday from a court in Seattle, notes that the couple has “agreements to split” but not even premature agreements.
The separation agreement is usually signed at the end of the marriage and sets the conditions for separation.
The premarital agreement is a contract created by two people listing all the property they had before they got married, and it specifys what happens to couples when they get separated.
That contract was not included in the divorce file, but it will dictate the way the couple will share their wealth.
