As foreign media reports report, this has been disclosed in a joint statement published after the end of the meetings.
The group, among other things, has expressed support over reforms for Montenegro and Serbia's EU membership process, writes Democracy. com
At the end of the announcement, it has been suggested that “any attempts to undermine Bosnia and Herzegovina's territorial integrity pose a threat to the region”.
The full statement of the G7 about the Western Balkans:
We confirm our common commitment to security, economic recovery and the European perspective of six Western Balkan countries as an essential investment in peace and stability. We highlight the importance of advancing necessary internal reforms, especially in the rule of law, including fighting organised crime, illegal finances and corruption, with tough actions taken against the most serious cases. We support the official opening of EU membership negotiations with Albania and Northern Macedonia. We support further progress in regional co-operation, especially through the Joint Regional Market, Green Environment for the Western Balkans and the Berlin Process. We urge Kosovo and Serbia to engage constructively in negotiations under the EU's relaxed dialogue and to fully normalise their relations through a comprehensive and legally binding agreement contributing to regional stability. We support implementation of the reform agenda regarding EU accession negotiations with Montenegro and Serbia. We call on countries in the region to expand domestic political space and improve the environment for civil society and independent media. Unjustified speculation about changes in borders along ethnic lines is no solution to the challenges facing the region. Such changes will pose a threat to regional security. We firmly reject any attempt to undermine Bosnia and Herzegovina's territorial integrity. We urge all parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina to agree and implement electoral reforms and limited constitutional reforms, implement European Court of Human Rights judgments and work closely with the O Office The SEU for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and the Venice Commission to move the country closer to realising its democratic aspirations. We welcome Christian Schmidt's candidacy as High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
