The man in question, whose name was Terry Duppin and that he had been 29 years old, had fled to a forest after shooting the police Sunday.
“Indyvidvid in question has been neutralised,” said France's Interior Minister Gerald Darmain during today, reports the BBC, traces Periscopi.
He reportedly was injured during a shootout with police officers as they approached him.
Another former military man had made a big fuss after sending out a letter of threat expressing his extreme right stance.
