“There is only one solution to combat the virus: solidarity and co-operation”, Jean-Bapist Lemoyne said from the Foreign Ministry in France.
The shipment includes eight generators with high oxygen capacity, which each can provide a year's oxygen value for 250 beds, liquid oxygen for 2 thousand patients for five days and 28 ventilators for intensive care units, French Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lenain said last week on Twitter.
The oxygen generators made by the French company Novair “will enable hospitals to produce their oxygen, and, more importantly, means they will no longer have to buy their oxygen”, said the International Director of Novair, Jean-Pierre Berlioz.
“We have built these eight units in record time, a real achievement,” said Berlios.
